Tour Option 1 - Ex Cairns
Cruise to Townsville with Coral Princess Cruises then join The Sunlander to Brisbane

Your Itinerary
Day 1
(Saturday) - This morning board your Coral Princess vessel at Cairns Trinity Wharf for an 11.00am departure. Cruise the outer Great Barrier Reef visiting Thetford Reef and Sudbury Cay for fish feeding, snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving.
Day 2 (Sunday) - Visit Coates or Nathan Reefs to further enjoy the Great Barrier Reef. Visit Dunk Island resort and enjoy a guided rainforest walk.
Day 3 (Monday) - Cruise the Family Group of Islands (the only tropical rainforest island on the Australian coast), Hinchinbrook Channel and be our guest at exclusive Pelorus Island with its magnificent fringing reef, beach and rainforest. Enjoy a Beach BBQ. Cruise the Palm Group of Islands.
Day 4 (Tuesday) - Cruise Halifax Bay, passing Magnetic Island, arriving in Townsville at 10.00am. Time to relax in Townsville before joining The Sunlander, travelling in Queenslander Class for your south bound rail journey to Brisbane, departing Townsville at 3.55pm. Watch the sun set over the passing fields of sugarcane before enjoying your superb three-course evening meal.
Day 5 (Wednesday) - Enjoy the view of these landscapes before passing through the northern suburbs on your way to your arrival point vibrant city of Brisbane.

Tour Option 2 - Ex Brisbane
The Sunlander from Brisbane to Townsville then cruise to Cairns with Coral Princess Cruises

Your Itinerary
Day 1
(Sunday) - Depart Brisbane 8.55am on The Sunlander, travelling in Queenslander Class to Townsville. Once settled into your private Queenslander Class cabin, make your way down to the Lounge Car to meet your fellow travellers, or just sit back and watch the passing scenery.
Day 2 (Monday) - Next morning, you will find the train surrounded by walls of sugarcane as you pass through Home Hill and Ayr, home to Queensland's sugar milling industry before arriving into Townsville. Arrive in Townsville at 8.20am. Overnight Townsville (own expense)
Day 3 (Tuesday) - 12.30pm board your Coral Princess vessel at Breakwater Terminal for a 1.00pm departure. Cruise the Palm Group of Islands.
Day 4 (Wednesday) - Be our guest on our exclusive Pelorus Island with its magnificent fringing reef, beach and rainforest. Enjoy a beach BBQ ashore. Cruise the spectacular Hinchinbrook Channel and the Family Group of Islands. Visit Dunk Island resort and enjoy a guided rainforest walk.
Day 5 (Thursday) -Time to explore Nathan Reef to enjoy snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving.
Day 6 (Friday) - Visit Thetford Reef for fish feeding and further time to enjoy snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Arrive Cairns Trinity Wharf 1.30pm.
